The Next Step: What comes next after completing the 12-week Back2Fitness journey…

Finishing any plan or course can be daunting, all the effort you’ve poured in, alongside the dedication to improving yourself and learning new skills, can lead to a pressure to feel like you’re the finished article come the finish.

For Back2Fitness, we expect most customers to experience a level of improvement in their own personal fitness, be that shedding weight, gaining muscle mass or a general upswing in ability. As the first of Back2Fitness’ early adopters come to the end of their epic 12-week fitness journeys, what about the next step; what comes next upon finishing the programme?

However, if you’re not ready to move on yet, and feel like you can gain more from the programme then continuing Back2Fitness is highly advised. Due to the flexibility and variants provided within the plan’s structure, you’d be able to go from start to finish up to three times without becoming comfortable and your weight plateauing as a result. If you go back to phase one, you can adapt by hitting heavier weights, which should see an improvement in muscle definition and building upon the base you’ve already secured from the first dozen weeks.

Having run through the plan once, your education in nutrition and fitness should have dramatically improved. As one of the key facets of the programme, we hope you’ll have responsibility for your own education, and now have a deeper understanding of how to combine different exercises together to create a tough, but ultimately rewarding workout. With well over 100 exercises in the full plan, there’s plenty to play with if you fancy a bigger challenge the second-time around.

Whether you’ve met your initial end goal, or if you’ve not yet, it can be helpful to update your end objective and continue the motivation towards your fitness. Conquered a half-marathon? Go for a full marathon! You’ll find the extension of your goal works well with the increase in your workouts to keep up your body’s maintenance.
